Boston Waterfront

Boston, MA - June 2007

Boston, MA, USA

Boston was a city I hadn't really research at all and just went and found a great city. I would go back in a hurry, I think I just scratched the city.

On top of the Rockefeller Center

New York - April 2007

The Big Apple

Recently I was fortunate to have the opportunity to chaperon a group of Metis youth to the American jungle of New York City. I was not sure what to expect from the Big Apple and it turned out to be everything I could of imagined and would love to visit again in the future.

It is an American icon of a city and has a culture and attitude all to its own.

Alberta Oil Sands

Fort McMurray - May 2007

Destination Profile

Fort McMurray

Fort McMurray is one of Canada's oil boom towns in Alberta that is heavily populated with people from Newfoundland and Labrador. People are migrating from Canada's most easterly province in search of employment at the oil sands.

It's a growing city that we hear lots about in Newfoundland and Labrador. I get to visit there every now and then to visit family so I've started to add tips on this place. I've started to enjoy it better than my initial impressions. I hope you enjoy!

White House in Washington

Washington, DC - February 2007

Washington, DC

I went to Washington, DC from Toronto on a little side trip to see what was going on down there. Apparently there are more spies in Washington than any other city in the world. I beleive it because I am sure there are more video cameras in Washington than any other city in the world as well, lol.

Great city though, lots to see, lots of history, have a fun!

Getting ready to leave St. Pierre with my red wine

Saint Pierre, France - August 2006
