Cordoba, Espana!

by jamiesno - last update: Dec 18, 2004

Horse & Buggy!

Quick Synopsis

I got to Sevilla, Spain as a chaperon for a small group of high school students who where on an EF Tour. I am not a teacher, I just simply organized the tour and they came!

Cordoba is situated between Madrid and Sevilla. It is important to remember the Cordoba was the world's cultural capital at one point in time. Today it seemed to me to be a very busy city with lots happening.

We got to Cordoba by bus and stopped into some very small towns along the way.
Orange Trees

Thoughts on Sevilla

I enjoyed walking around the streets of Cordoba because you could smell the orange trees everywhere. It was great.

Knowing that there was so much culture in the city you could almost feel it. Despite just being there for the afternoon I certainly got to test my senses. The smell of the oranges, the taste of the Bull's Tail, and the sight of the Mezquita!

Definitely a bang for your buck but I would recommend you spend much more time in this city, I think I missed out on a whole lot more stuff I could have experienced!
