For me I didn't identify any tourist traps in Battle Harbour it was a great experience, way above my expectations and great value.

The staff there are very accommodating and will make your trip a great experience. As you can see from my picture we were treated very well from the time we arrived until we set sail for Mary's Harbour. Waving on the dock are the staff in Battle Harbour!

At Least Do This: Before you go its worth while to read all of my tips and set your expectations for a travel back in time to an early and bustling 1900 fishing village.

There are many modern amenities now incorporated into the site but you can really experience and soak up an authentic experience in this restored village.
Alternative: There are no alternatives to such a unique and authentic experience as you will find in Battle Harbour!
