on February 9, 2007The food is good, there Planteur wonderful (drink made of tropical fruit juice and rhum) is delicious (the best I had in Guyana!), the people very nice and hasty!
You need to book to have dinner, but it could be a good idea to book, even for lunch!
If they have some "cochon bois" go for it! It is a "wild piglet" that lives in the jungle. It's flesh is very tender, and it is served in a tasty spicy (but not spicy hot) sauce.
Ther "pimentade" of fish was also divine (pimentade is a sauce, but ot spicy hot)
